Shruikan smirked as another bug hit the ship. "Wanna play?" he asked Zaris.

The trip was not at all like he thought it would be. Stranded in a swamp...what a way to enter this new, foreign world! The air was wet, too wet, and the sounds of innumerable creatures lying in wait or otherwise seemed so alien to him...worst of all was the lack of Flaric's comforting warmth. This place was nothing at all like home, but such and much worse was what he must endure if he was to attain the power he'd first experienced a taste of back home.
Pyr-Ranos rumbled something to himself about reading the inscriptions on the Obelisks that he used to be sent here more carefully, then rose from his kneeling position. He closes the carved-out "eyes" in his face in concentration, then roars to the skies above as he unleashes a wave of flame around him. The moisture in the air and on the ground vanishes in short order, and the sounds of the creatures nearby have gone silent. A blast of incredibly hot air in the wave's wake surges through the forest, disrupting the slumber of more than a few creatures in the gnarled trees. The stony giant sits on the now-baked soil with a crunch and calmly begins meditating. His immediate surroundings were still nothing like Flaric, but certainly much more comfortable now...at least enough to allow him to think in peace.

"Lets go with seven. That way the game wont last something like 5 minutes." Suddenly, he heard a majority of the insects outside stop. "Erm.....wha? It's still raining..."

She looked outside and saw them all staring at something. "What...?" A huge spider came romping through, eating the bugs. "FUUU- It's the Kagnor! I've heard rumors of this thing!" She activated the ship's weapon systems, "Shrui, I ha\ope you know how to work a gun!" She roared, firing a lot of lasers and bullets at the thing.

"I guess now would be a nice time to learn!" he said, grabbing a gun, opening a hatch and looking out at the giant spider."But the Kagnor's just a legend!"

Shruikan chuckled, then took aim. He knew the basic thing about shooting weapons, but this thing was complicated. He pressed a button, and the thing started to vibrate. Surprised, he pressed it again, making it stop. He pulled the trigger, nothing happened. He pulled astring and it ,ade a loud noise, and a green bar lit up on the side of the weapon He pulled the trigger again, and a laser shot out of it, hitting a tree. Smilimng with voctory, he pulled the string, aimed, and shot at Kagnor.

She shot a few of the bugs along with the Kagnor, which was able to kick the space craft on its side. "Oh, you did NOT just kick my baby over..."

Shruikan fell to the side of the ship (which was joe the bottom) as the spider knocked it over. "Forget this," he said, throwing the gun on the floor. He climbed up to the hatch, which was now on the ceiling, and crawled out onto the outside of the ship. He concentrated, pointing at Kagnor. He breathed in deeply, then releasednwuickly, causing a small strike of lightning shoot from his fingers and hit the giant arachnid. It stunned it, if only for a second or two.

Zaris crawled out, armed to the teeth with guns, Ammunition, swords, and just plain looked like she was ready to kick butt.

Pyr's meditation was interrupted by a ruckus not too far away from the charred circle he sat in. He rumbled something under his breath in irritation, then rose to his feet with a series of pops and cracking noises. The baked soil and vegetation beneath his feet crunched as he walked out of the circle in the direction of the battle ahead. Inwardly he wanted to rest longer, as his little stunt from before left him feeling quite drained, and his flames were quite dim in comparison to how they usually burned. But, then again this was not his home. He made a note to be more careful in the future during his stay here or on any other world he may visit.
His eyes soon met the sight of a fierce, if not small, fight between two creatures he'd never met before and a menagerie of the local creepy-crawlies. He loudly cracks his blackened knuckles and rushes at the largest foe, a large spider-like creature, and attempts to deliver a crushing kick to the beast.

The Kagnor was kicked, and it kicked him back. Zaris in the mean time open fire on the spider, firing bullets, rockets, lasers, and grenades at it. "NO BODY KICKS MY SHIP!"

Pyr is sent sprawling by the kick before he has a chance to parry it. He lifts himself up and assumes a proper stance. Concentrating what little spare Flame he has left into his hands he brings his fists together, arms extended, and launches a small blast of fire at the spider.

The spider, furious, pounced on the stone giant, trying to bit and envenom it to no avail. instead it made a high-pitching shreik trying to shatter the stone with sound, but Zaria hot a grenade into its mouth, causing it to turn its attention to her instead.
